SCOTT EWING MEMORIAL SENIOR SCHOLARSHIP REMINDER - DUE 4/7

Just a reminder that the scholarship is due this Friday at 3 pm. Students can still pick up applications from the counseling office.

You can find more info below: The Olympia Ministerial Alliance, made up of pastors from churches of various Christian denominations located within the Olympia School district, is offering a financial scholarship for graduating seniors at Olympia High School. This scholarship is named for Scott Ewing, formerly the youth minister at the Minier Christian Church. Scott was actively involved with our area youth and the Ministerial Alliance before he was killed in an automobile accident in 2004. This scholarship is intended to encourage area Christian youth to live out their faith and help them reach their academic goals.

The scholarship is funded by donations from churches, individuals, and related groups in the Olympia area. A scholarship committee of Ministerial Alliance members will select the winners. Their decision will be final.

This year the scholarship will honor two graduating seniors from Olympia High School who will receive a scholarship of $1,000 each. These scholarships will be awarded based upon the criteria below. Scholarships will be awarded at the Olympia Awards Night before graduation. Winners will also be presented at the Baccalaureate service on May 7th.
