Scholarship Description
Five awards of $1,000 each are available to high school seniors through the Come 2 Iowa (C2IA) Senior Scholarship. To participate, eligible students must register and then complete two online financial literacy tutorials plus an assessment. A short essay may be required to break ties among students who achieve a top score on the assessment. Eligibility: -Are permanent residents in one of the following states contiguous to Iowa: Illinois, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, South Dakota, or Wisconsin -Are seniors at a high school located in Illinois, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, South Dakota, or Wisconsin during the school year -Attend college in fall at an institution located in Iowa -Are at least 13 years of age as of the date they begin the scholarship process The three online components will take a total of about one hour to complete. The five (5) seniors who score highest on the assessment will receive a scholarship sent directly to their college or university in the fall. If a tiebreaker is necessary, tied students will be asked to write and be judged on a short essay. For more information or to apply, please visit the scholarship provider's website
