Scholarship Description
The Auxiliary Scholarship awards $1,000 per year to full-time students enrolled in an approved health care field. The Carle Auxiliary awards between twelve (12) and eighteen (18) $1,000 scholarships annually to students pursuing health care careers. Two mandatory requirements: The first is that that student be able to prove that they are in a curriculum that results in health care employment like nursing, radiology technology, and so forth. The second is that they are a permanent resident of the counties listed below, regardless of the location of their college. Students will be considered if enrolled in college level courses from junior college through post-doctorate but can be awarded to high school students if they are already accepted at a college at the time of application. Special Note: Scholarship applicants must be a permanent resident of one of the following Illinois counties: Champaign, Clark, Clay, Coles, Crawford, Cumberland, Dewitt, Douglas, Edgar, Effingham, Fayette, Ford, Iroquois, Jasper, Lawrence, Macon, Moultrie, Piatt, Richland, Shelby, or Vermillion.
