The 6 schools of pharmacy in Illinois in addition to St. Louis College of Pharmacy are banding together to create awareness of careers in pharmacy on Tuesday, September 27, 2016. The Illinois Pre-Pharmacy Fair will be held at the Astroth Community Education Center (ACEC), room 2101/2102 on the campus of Heartland Community College. This is a free event and registration begins at 4:30 p.m.
The experience includes a presentation on careers in pharmacy, an admissions panel, and a student experience question and answer session. At 6:30 p.m., attendees will have the opportunity to interact with all 7 schools of pharmacy during the pharmacy fair. The 7 schools of pharmacy include Chicago State University, Midwestern University, Roosevelt University, Rosalind Franklin University, Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville, St. Louis College of Pharmacy and University of Illinois Chicago.
