Olympia Education Association Scholarship

The Olympia Education Association Scholarship has been established to honor a graduating senior who plans to pursue a career in education. The funding for this scholarship comes from the member teachers of the association. Each year a deserving, college-bound senior who enters the field of education will be awarded a $500 scholarship. This student must have demonstrated excellence in academic ability and have contributed to the activities, integrity and positive image of Olympia High School through his/her participation.
Requirements:
1. Must be an Olympia senior qualified for graduation during the current academic year.
2. Must have achieved a minimum grade point average of B (3.0).
3. Must have two teacher recommendations- one of these can be from a coach/sponsor of an activity in which you participated.
4. Must have completed the application form and essay requirement. Applications can be found in the counseling office. Applications must be turned in by May 5th.
