Hello Everyone!
We have an exciting event to tell you about; and, even more importantly, YOU ARE INVITED to attend along with interested students! Here are the details:
WHO: Hairmasters Institute of Cosmetology
WHAT: A Professional Seminar. Area industry professionals will be showcasing different facets of the cosmetology industry. We will have demonstrations/discussions relating to permanent make-up, skin care, esthetics, men’s and women’s hair design and bridal make-up. We will also have on hand our student, Miss Laura Coronel, who is the 2015 National Skills Cosmetology Champion!
WHEN: Monday, February 22, 2016 from 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. (lunch will be provided).
WHERE: ISU Alumni Center, 1101 North Main Street, Normal, Illinois; Room 116. Plenty of parking is available. Each school will determine how they want to handle transportation.
WHY: It is our desire to expose current and future cosmetology professionals and counselors to the many avenues a cosmetology license can take.
Now a little more information: We have sixty spots open for prospective Cosmetology students and counselors. These spots will be given on a first-come, first-served basis. Please begin with seniors interested in attending Cosmetology school after graduation. After the senior list is exhausted then move to juniors and so on. Once a student has the appropriate permission slip properly executed, we would like the counselor to call Hairmasters at 309-828-1884 to give us the name. We will make sure their name is added to the list. Counselors, call and reserve your spot soon!
If you have any questions please contact Julie Fritzsche or Linda McVey at Hairmasters. Again, our number is 309-828-1884.
We can’t wait to see you and highlight the very interesting, ever changing world of cosmetology!
