Community College Scholarship Programs
The program provides one $500 agricultural scholarship at the following eight community colleges in our 42-county service territory: Black Hawk College – East Campus, Kewanee; Highland Community College, Freeport; Illinois Central College, East Peoria; Illinois Valley Community College, Oglesby; John Wood Community College, Perry; Joliet Junior College, Joliet; Kishwaukee College, Malta; and Spoon River College, Canton.
To be eligible, a student must have been accepted into an agriculture or agriculture-related curriculum at one of the above community colleges.
Selection is made by the community college. 1st Farm Credit Services is not involved in the selection of these scholarships.
For applications and selection details about the 1st Farm Credit Service agriculture scholarship – and other available scholarships – at these community colleges, students should contact the institution’s financial aid office or agriculture department directly.
