Ronald McDonald House Charities Scholarship

Beginning this year, Ronald McDonald House Charities® of Central Illinois will award 12 $2,000 scholarships to high school seniors who face limited access to educational opportunities. Students are selected and awards are distributed based on demonstrated academic achievement, community involvement, leadership and financial need. Our chapter will offer the RMHC® Scholars Scholarship only. All students are eligible to apply regardless of race, color, creed, religion, sexual orientation, gender, disability or national origin.
Application deadline is January 20, 2016
ELIGIBILITY Eligible scholarship applicants must: • Live within a participating program’s geographic boundaries.** • Be a legal U.S. resident. • Be less than 21 years of age. • Carry a minimum 2.7 GPA. • Be eligible to enroll and attend an institution of higher education or a vocational/technical school. • Plan to enroll at an accredited post-secondary education institution during the academic year following their graduation. • Complete and submit the online scholarship application and send required supporting materials and documentation to International Scholarship & Tuition Services no later than January 20, 2016. ** Counties designated in our chapter include: Adams, Brown, Cass,
Champaign, Christian, Coles, Dewitt, Douglas, Effingham, Ford, Fulton, Livingston, Logan, Macon, Mason, McLean, Menard, Morgan, Moultrie, Peoria, Piatt, Pike, Sangamon, Schuyler, Shelby, Stark, Tazewell, Vermillion, & Woodford.
HOW TO APPLY There are two easy steps for submitting scholarship applications: 1. Apply Online Online applications are available at https://aim.applyists.net/RMHC. 2.
